Reigning Mrs. Cambodia Niza Oun-Nguyen Crowned Mrs. Asia USA in The Mrs. Asia USA pageant
The Mrs Asia USA pageant which was an evening of glamour and gratitude where the set up was absolutely marvellous was hailed as one of the best nights of the year for the beauty pageant world.
Contestants who took part in the beauty pageant were judged on their intelligence, beauty, and their confidence. Niza Oun-Nguyen who serves as a Vice President and Wealth Manager at BNY Mellon Wealth Management said she was overwhelmed to win the title of Mrs. Asia USA 2019.
“I could not believe I won”, said Niza. “I went into the competition with so much positivity and gave it my all, to win was just amazing and I hope my win provides inspiration to all the young women around the world.”
Recognizing that Cambodian Americans are among the poorest populations in the United States, Niza believes that it is her responsibility to inspire and motivate people like herself to overcome the odds and bring their dreams to life. At a time when just 45 percent of US-born Cambodian Americans earn a high school diploma, she knows that she has her work cut out for her but refuses to quit.
